Siddique started his career as a mimicry artist. He made his acting debut in 1985 for the film Aa Neram Alppa Dooram ( ആ നേരം അല്പദൂരം). During the last 35 years, he has acted in over 350 films. He started his career doing comedy roles during the 1990s and since 1997 has transitioned into more serious roles. He is also a film producer.
Sidhique completed his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Kerala State Electricity Board division at Thrissur, Kerala, and later in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) before taking up a career in the arts.
During his career, he has won several awards and recognitions. Notably Second Best Actor at Kerala State Film Awards in 2003. Best actor at Kerala State Television Awards in 2005. Latest being Best Character Actor at Vanitha Film Awards in 2020.
He has three sons Rasheen, Shaheen and Farheen. His first wife passed away by suicide, he is currently married to Seena Sidhique.
He was the producer of the film Nandanam in 2002 which won won four Kerala State Film Awards. Nandanam also debuted Actor Pritviraj,
