Anjali Menon

Anjali Menon is a Film Director and Screenwriter. She debuted in the Malayalam film industry with her film Manjadikuru in 2008.

She grew up in Dubai and studied at Our Own English High School in Dubai. She completed her post-graduate in Communication from Pune University. She later graduated from the London Film School in 2003.

Over the years she has won several awards notably; Kerala State Film Award for Best Original Screenplay (2013) and the best dialogue writer award in National Film Awards in 2014 for her film Ustad hotel. Filmfare Awards South - Best Director 2015 for the film Bangalore days.

She is the daughter of T. Madhavan Nair and Sarada Nair. She currently lives in Mumbai with her husband Vinod Menon and son.

Her short film Black Nor White was chosen to be screened at her graduation ceremony at the London Film School.
