Biju Menon made his debut in the Malayalam Film industry through the movie ‘Puthran’ in 1994. So far he has appeared in more than 150 films till now.
His performance in ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ was well received and Kerala Film Critics Awards for Best Actor for the same.
He pursued primary education from J.T.S Technical High School, Thrissur and completed a degree in commerce from St. Thomas College, Thrissur. He did Master of Social Work (MSW) after graduation.
He won the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor twice, during 1997 and 2010. He also won several other awards including the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Actor in 2020, Second Best Actor in 2011, Best Supporting Actor in 2010, etc.
He was born to Madathiparambil P. N. Balakrishna Pillai and Malathiyamma Menon in Thrissur. He has four brothers Soman, Suresh, Rajendra and Sreekumar. He married Malayalam actress Samyuktha Varma in 2002 and the couple has a son Daksh Dharmik born in 2006.
Biju Menon is a good singer also. He has sung more than 5 songs for films and most of them are hits. He is also a versatile stage artist and has performed in various places across the globe.
