Deepak Dev (Deepak Devraj Komath)

Deepak Devraj Komath, better known as Deepak Dev, is a well-known music composer best known for his Malayalam film compositions.

He started his career in the film industry through the movie Chronic Bachelor (2003) directed by Siddique. Deepak is also a former member of the Kochi based Indian rock band Motherjane.

Deepak Dev composed music for a number of successful Malayalam films and is known for his versatile compositions, which range from lighthearted pop songs to soulful melodies.

He attended The Indian High School in Dubai and Sacred Heart College in Thevara.

He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Background Score for his work on the film "Urumi."

Deepak Dev's parents are Devraj Komath and Asha Dev. He has a younger brother named Dixit Dev.

Deepak married Smitha Girijan on May 26, 2002. The couple has two daughters, Devika and Pallavi.
