Dhanya Varma

Dhanya Varma is a journalist and talk show host. She started her career with an internship at Star Plus and later became an assistant producer on the TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Later from 2009 - 2011, she hosted a hugely popular talk show called Talking point on Rosebowl. She currently hosts a talk show The Happiness Project, on Kappa TV.
She also has her own YouTube channel (I AM with Dhanya Varma) where she regularly interviews famous Malayalis.

She has acted in 3 movies Humans of Someone (2018), Pathinettam Padi (2019) and Sara's (2021).

She graduated with a Masters degree in Communication from Pune University in 2001.

She is married to Commander Vijay Varma, an officer in the Indian Navy and has 2 daughters and a son.

Her husband Commander Vijay Varma is famous for his heroic effort to airlift a pregnant woman (Sajitha Jabeel) during the 2018 floods in Kerala.
