Dharmajan Bolgatty (Dharmajan V K)

Dharmajan Bolgatty/Dharmajan V K is an actor, producer, comedian, politician and entrepreneur.

He began his career as a comedian appearing in sketch comedies on stage, later forayed into such comedic television shows and into films.

He started his Malayalam cinema career with the film Paappi Appacha (2010). He has acted in over 50 films so far.

He is also a businessman and has established fish stores himself. He is also a film producer and produced a film named Nithyaharitha Nayakan in 2018.

Dharmajan entered active politics in 2021 as a member of the Indian National Congress.

He completed his primary education at Mulavukad High School and later joined St. Albert's College.

In 2018 he won Asianet Film Awards - Best comedian (Various films)

He is the son of MadhaviKumaran. He is married to Anuja and has two children, Veda and Vyga.

He got the name Bolgatty, because he was born Mulavukad (Ernakulam), also known locally as Bolgatty Island.
