Rajiv Anchal

He is a renowned director in the Malayalam film industry, best known for his film "Guru," which was India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Throughout his career, he has directed approximately eight films.

He sculpted the Parnashala at the Santhigiri Ashram and the immense Jatayu bird sculpture at Jatayu Earth’s Center in Kollam. He is currently chairman & managing director at Jatayu Earth's Center.

The Jatayu sculpture, which is the largest bird sculpture in the world, depicts the mythical bird Jatayu from the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.

He has done his schooling in Yeroor Government High School, Then he took a Diploma from St. John’s College.

Later he studied Sculpture at Trivandrum College of Fine Arts.

He has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Art Director.

He have received New York International Independent Film and Video Festival awards.

He is married to Padmam Rajeev and have two children.
