Fahadh Faasil

Fahad Faasil's real name is Abdul Hameed Mohammed Fahad Fazil. Fahadh began his film career at the age of 19 in his father Fazil's 2002 romantic film Kaiyethum Doorath, since then he has acted in over 49 films.

He has received several awards, including a National Film Award, four Kerala State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.

His first film Kaiyethum Doorath, was a commercial failure. Since then over the years his performance has been exceptional and has given all movie lovers several memorable characters.

Fahadh is the son of film director Fazil and his wife Rozina. He has two sisters, Ahameda and Fatima, and a brother, Farhaan (also an actor). He married Malayalam film actress Nazriya Nazim in August 2014.

His family members fondly address him as ‘Shanu’.

After his first film, he took a gap of 7 years before returning to Malayalam film industry to perform several iconic roles.
