Kalabhavan Mani (Kunnisseri Veettil Raman Mani)

Kalabhavan Mani was a famous actor and mimicry artist, he started his career as a mimicry artist with the Kalabhavan comedy troupe. He started his acting career in 1995 with the Malayalam film Aksharam. He has starred in over 250 films, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films.

Along with his acting career, Mani established a parallel industry of Nadan Pattu.

Mani died on March 6th 2016 due to severe liver damage conditions. He was well known for providing humanitarian assistance to people in need.

Mani completed his schooling in the GLPS East School Chalakudy till 4th grade and Government Boys School , Chalakudy till 10th grade.

Mani won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award and Kerala State Film Award for his performance as Ramu in Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum (1999)

Mani was born to Chenathunad Kunnisseri Veettil Raman and Ammini. Mani married Nimmy on 22 September 1999 and has a daughter.

His first role was as an Auto Rickshaw driver, he was also once an autorickshaw driver.
