Namitha Pramod is a film actress. Namitha started her acting career in the seventh class with telefilms. Her first film role was the Malayalam film “Traffic” in 2011. Her first heroine role was for the movie “Puthiya theerangal” in 2012.
Namitha graduated from Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram. She attended the St. Teresa's College, Kochi to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
Namitha won several awards. She won amrita film awards for best new face of the year for the film “Puthiya theerangal”. She won 2 Asianet film awards for the films “Ormayundo ee mukham” and “Pullipulikalum attinkuttiyum”. She won 3 vanitha film awards for the most popular actress for the films “Adi kapyare koota mani”, “Vikramadithyan”, “Amar Akbar Anthony”.
Namitha Pramod's parents are Pramod and Indu. She has a sister Ankita Pramod.
