Sunil Kumar, popularly known Narain by his stage name. He mainly works in Malayalam and Tamil films. He made his debut through the movie Malayalam movie ‘Nizhalkuthu’ in 2002. He made his debut in the Tamil industry with the movie ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’ in 2006.
Narain studied for pre-degree in St. Thomas College, Thrissur. He graduated from Sree Kerala Varma College.
He was nominated for Filmfare Awards for Best Actor in 2008 and South Indian International Movie Awards for Best Actor in Negative Role in 2013.
Narain was born to Radhakrishnan Nair and Shantha Kumari. He married Manju Haridas in 2007 and the couple has a child, Thanmaya Narain.
