Nazriya started her media career as an anchor, in 2004. In 2006, she made her acting debut as a child actress in the film “Palunk”. Since then she has acted in hit films like “Neram”(2013), “Raja Rani”(2013), “Om Shanti Oshana”(2014) and “Bangalore Days”(2014) etc. In 2014 she debuted as a singer, for the film “Salalah mobiles”, she has sung over 4 songs so far.
Her first foray into film production was “Varathan” starring her husband Fahad Fasil.
She Educated at Our Own English High School and Christ Nagar School in UAE She joined Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram but left the college due to tight shooting schedules.
She has also won several awards. Notably 2 Kerala state film awards for best actress, Tamil Nadu state film awards for the film “Neram”.
Nazriya was born the daughter of Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena. She has a brother Naveen Nazim who is also a film actor. She married actor Fahad Fazil in August 2014.
She co-starred with Nivin Pauly on Sony Music Entertainment's album “Yuv”, which became very popular among young people.
