Nedumudi Venu (Kesavan Venugopal)

Nedumudi Venu's real name is Kesavan Venugopal. He started his career in theatre and went on to act in films. He debuted in the film Thambu in 1978. During his career spanning five decades, he acted in more than 500 films.

Venu died at KIMS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on 11 October 2021, at the age of 73.

During his carrier he has won numerous awards Best actor, Best supporting actor, best screen writer, Best Villain etc...

Nedumudi is the youngest of their five children. He was born to P. K. Kesava Pillai, a schoolmaster and P. Kunjikkuttiyamma.

He was married to T. R. Susheela. The couple had two sons: Unni and Kannan.
