N. K. Premachandran

N. K. Premachandran is a politician. He is currently a Member of Parliament representing the Kollam Lok Sabha constituency. He is also a Former Water Resources Minister of Kerala.

He started his political career through the student organisation of the Revolutionary Socialist Party. During his political career, he has held various positions both at the state and national levels.

He was elected to Lok Sabha for the first time in 1996.

He completed BSc from Fathima Matha National College, Kollam. In 1985 he passed LLB from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram

His father's name is Shri Krishna Pillai, Mother's name is Smt. Maheswary Amma. He is married to Smt. S. Geetha Premachandran ( Lecturer), they have a son Karthik Premachandran.
