PNC Menon (Puthan Naduvakkatt Chenthamaraksha Menon)

Puthan Naduvakkatt Chenthamaraksha Menon, commonly known as P. N. C. Menon, is an Indian-born billionaire businessman from Palakkad.

At the age of 26, P.N.C. Menon moved to Oman and established his interior decoration firm in 1976.

In 1995, he founded Sobha Ltd, initially known as Sobha Developers Limited, and currently serves as the founder and Chairman Emeritus of the company.

Sobha Ltd (headquartered in Dubai, UAE) is now the largest real estate company in India and is worth over Rs14,000 Crore.

P. N. C. Menon is also a philanthropist who has adopted several villages in Kerala and donated millions to various charitable causes.

He also serves on the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council of Overseas Indians.

Financial difficulties led him to leave his studies after primary school.

Later, he dropped out of college without finishing his education to start his business in interior decoration.

Mr. Menon has received numerous accolades, including the 'Golden Peacock Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Leadership' from the Institute of Directors in 2014, and the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' at the NDTV Property Awards in 2013.

He was also honored with the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Puraskar' by the former President of India, Ms. Pratibha Patil, in 2009.

He is married to Sobha and they have three children: two daughters, Bindu and Revathi, and one son Ravi Menon. Ravi Menon is the current chairman of SOBHA Ltd.
