R Sreekandan Nair (Sreekandan Nair Raman Pillai)

R. Sreekandan Nair is an Indian television host, journalist and Managing Director of Flowers TV (TV channel) and 24 News.

Sreekandan Nair started his career in 1984 as a programme executive at All India Radio. He later joined Asianet as the head of its TV content division in Kerala. In 2003, he became the Senior Vice president of Asianet.

Later in 2015, he moved on to Flowers TV.

He is also the Managing Director of 24 news ( officially launched on 8 December 2018 )

His highest qualification is MPhil Political Science at University of Kerala.

On 18 March 2018, he achieved the Guinness world record for the most questions asked by a TV talk show host in 6 hours. He asked 670 questions.

Won best anchor award thrice from Government of Kerala.

He was born in 1959 to the late N. Raman Pillai and Janaki Ammal in Kottarakara. He is married and has 4 kids.

He appeared in the 1999 Malayalam movie Njangal Santhushtaranu as himself.
