Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson is an Indian cricketer, he right-handed batter and a wicketkeeper. He started playing for the Kerala team in domestic tournaments in 2011. He made his IPL debut for Rajasthan against Kings XI Punjab on 14 April 2013. His first international game for India was against Zimbabwe on 19 July 2015 in Twenty20 International (T20I). His One Day International (ODI) debut on 23 July 2021 against Sri Lanka.

He holds a B.A. degree in English literature from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram. He is currently working as the manager of Bharat Petroleum, Thiruvananthapuram.

His father, Samson Viswanath, was a police constable at Delhi Police and a retired football player and coach. His mother, Ligy Viswanath is a housewife. He has an elder brother Saly Samson.

Sanju is married to his long-time girlfriend Charulatha Remesh.
