Shine Tom Chacko is an Indian actor and former assistant director in Malayalam cinema.
He worked as an assistant to director Kamal for 9 years and made his acting debut with “Gaddama” in 2011.
Since then he has appeared in over 80 films.
He is an alumnus of AVHSS Ponnani. Later he studied for bachelor's degree at St. Thomas college, Thrissur.
He won SIIMA Awards for best actor in a negative role for the movie “Ishq”.
Shine Tom Chacko was born to C.P Chacko and Maria Carmel. He has a brother Joe John Chacko.
He married Thabeetha Mathew in 2013, they are currently separated. They have a son together Ciel Chacko (Born May 2016).
He is currently engaged to Thanuja Sherin and is expected to be married in July 2024.
Shine's first appearance in movie was in 2002 for the film Nammal as Man sitting in a bus. He only had a single shot in the film.
In Jan 2015 Shine Tom Chacko was among 5 held on drug possession charge in Kochi. He served 2 months in Jail, and was released on bail.
