Shweta Menon is an actress, model and television anchor. She predominantly appears in Malayalam films and TV shows. She made her debut in Malayalam through the movie ‘Anaswaram’ in 1991 and has appeared in more than 105 movies and 12 television programs so far.
She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, East Hill, Kozhikode
She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress twice. The first one for her performance in ‘Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha’ and the next one for her performance in ‘Salt N’ Pepper’. She has won several other awards including South Indian International Movie Awards and Asianet Film Awards.
She was born to Naranankutty Menon and Sarada Menon. She married Bobby Bhonsle in 2004, but the couple divorced later in 2007. She then married Sreevalsan Menon and the couple has a daughter, Sabaina Menon, born in 2012.
Shweta won the Femina Miss India Asia Pacific in the year 1994. She was a participant in the show Big Boss Malayalam Season 1.
